KATE DREXLER

wild.peace.art is Kate Drexler. Drexler is an Ontario born artist who recently moved from the Northwest Territories to the West Coast. Further British Columbia’s wild and tumultuous seascape has urged her to return to her childhood passion: painting.

Viewing nature as it is, in the present, inspires Drexler to see life as it is. She aspires to capture this authenticity on canvas. She represents the bold wild of the coast through acrylics as well as  the soft serenity of its landscapes through watercolors. For example her pieces conjure up the untamed self allowing one to reconnect with one’s untamed self.
